The total

A final letter

Each event is logged, measured by you. The course gives a letter based on your time and your errors, the 12-minute run a letter based on your distance; the letters make points, and the points the final letter. The text doesn't say which letter means elimination. The run's table leaves one meter without a letter between some steps (2,800 m for men, for example): Varko then shows both possible letters.

The letters, by points

  • A: 11 to 12 points
  • B: 8 to 10 points
  • C: 6 to 7 points
  • D: 3 to 5 points
  • E: 1 to 2 points
What this page doesn't say

Because the source doesn't say it

  • the “passed / not passed” threshold: the letter C is “subject to decision”;
  • where exactly 2,800 m and 2,650 m, 1,599 m and 1,499 m fall: in no row of the sheet;
  • the letter for a total of 0 points;
  • whether the sheet also applies to the Jura: no written confirmation.
